Dallas Campus Student Ministry
Wednesdays
The Dallas Campus of Prestonwood opened August of 2011, giving an opportunity to reach more students in the Dallas area. There are weekly Bible studies (SPOTS) for High School students that are led by students, in the homes of students on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30. For Jr. High students, we have Choas, which meets in the student worship center at the Dallas campus every week from 6:30-8:00. It is a time for students to connect with other students and to connect with God's word.
Sundays
Every Sunday morning, we have Sunday Morning Live which is for all Jr. High and High School students. We meet at 9:15 in the student worship center where we spend time discovering God's plan for our lives. There is music, relevant teaching, and time to discuss with other students how God's word impacts our lives. We want students to be challenged, to know they are supported, and to walk away encouraged as they live out God's plan in their lives.
Other Big Events
Every year we have several events you can count on. In the Summer we have High School Camp, Jr. High Camp, and Mission Trips. Every Spring we have Freedom Weekend that is a life changing weekend for all students spent with their friends hanging out, talking about truth, and challenging each other to evaluate their lives based on God's word.
Our Team
Chris Hurst is the Student Pastor, Megan Mallette is the Admin Assistant for the student ministry as well as the girls minister, and Jon Green serves both Jr. High and High School as the student ministry Intern. Our team is always looking for ways to meet new students, connect with them, and see them experience God's best by becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
